About me

Meet Your Houston Psychiatrist

My name is Dr. Adeeb Masood and I serve clients throughout Houston, including Montrose, the Museum District, and surrounding areas. I completed my psychiatry residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center and specialize in psychodynamic psychotherapy and medication management.

As a Houston psychiatrist, I believe our life challenges often stem from within ourselves and our relationships. I treat a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, neurodevelopmental issues like OCD and ADHD, relationship issues, self-identity concerns, and young adult challenges.

Outside of my practice, I enjoy hiking, cooking, pickleball, board games, and spending time with my family. If you’re looking for a psychiatrist who takes a thoughtful, personalized approach, reach out below to schedule a free consultation.

My Approach to Psychiatry

I generally like to meet with clients for an extended intake session, and possibly even a few follow-ups, where we collaborate about your needs and goals. From there, we can talk about whether medications and/or psychotherapy would be helpful for you. I like to understand my clients in-depth before proposing what could help them long term.
